Suicide Squad: JB review

This is the next DC comics film where we hoped it met our expectations after feeling exhausted from Batman vs Superman. What did I think of Suicide Squad? for the record, I liked it, But should there have been more to it? Yes. for those who don't know the concept, it's about a group of super villains assigned to defeat an oncoming threat in exchange for freedom from prison. They include Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, firestarter Diablo, but who stole the show was Margo Robbie's Harley Quinn (It's the first time the character's appeared in a live-action film), who brings her humor and craziness toward the team,

as well as Will Smith's Deadshot, who as a skilled marksman, still brings humanity and charisma, which are already Smith's own characteristics.

And there's Jared Leto's Joker, who's really...just there for certain scenes. I guess to set up a sequence, like how many scenes did they have to cut? I just hope they show more of him in the Batman spinoff or something.

So for the film, the first act might feel a bit off, but the rest is an enjoyable ride. though I'll be honest, at this point, DC's gotta make better movies. Can we still hope for Justice League? Wonder Woman? The Flash? Maybe?! Grade: B-
