For a long time I've been a fan of action films, but a few could compete with the amount of Fury Road as an exhilarating experience. I was blown away when I first saw this in theaters, as we see Tom Hardy fill in Mel Gibson's shoes and get caught into the post-apocalypse landscape by crazed riders who worship a Bane-like ruler called Immortan Joe, you would see them drive through the outfields of an Australian desert, using tricked out cars fueled with fire, the madmen putting on a chrome-colored spray on their mouths, all during the film's most upbeat soundtrack and that's how you'll know how mad it will really get.
We also meet the film's strongest female lead, Furiosa (Charlize Theron), who, along with Max and three other women tries to regain the freedom of the people by taking on an intense race against others. You will see CGI, you'll see actual stunts, which of it is real? who cares really, because the director who also brought you Happy Feet pulled out an achievement that's as real as it gets, so prepare to be wowed by what I decided was one of the best films of 2015.
