We've went through sequels lately that disappointed us such as Independence Day and Alice in Wonderland, and the latest Ice Age is no exception. It's the fifth film that starts with the squirrel Scrat still on his nut obsesson leading to find a UFO (doesn't explain where that comes from) and he unintentionally brings down a meteor that leads to a plot so predictable and jokes so bland, it seems like the people behind it have gotten tired of this series. Not even its huge voice cast could save it as it proves to be a bit overstuffed and TV show-styled cartoonish. I heard this may be the last film of the series, and now I thinking it's best that this SHOULD be the last. C-
