Ghostbusters(2016): JB review

📷

All right, this is the latest redoing of an 80's classic that would either be appreciated by fans of this generation, or keep being blasted by internet trolls like they did even BEFORE the film was released, because to be fair, I don't know which side I'm on anymore.

The story is set in modern day New York City (like pretty much every other blockbuster movie), where two friends played by Wiig and McCarthy are believers in the paranormal and, with the help and comic relief of Kate Mckinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth's dumb blonde of a receptionist, they form the team as you'd expect and have to take down a menacing ghost that takes over a random guy.

That's basically the plot, there are times you may laugh, but not laugh out loud. But hey, it's decent enough, right? You might even catch the cameos of the original cast and other throwbacks. Isn't that enough? I mean, even I think it could have been better but I don't just hate on everybody for it!

Not all of us existed in the 80's, man! OK, back to topic, it's still a fair change to the series. B-
