Let's look at the latest Marvel film, Deadpool. Centering around a seemingly carefree man named Wade Wilson, stricken with cancer, undergoes an experiment that leaves him disfigured and with an accelerated healing factor, and soon sets revenge on those who changed him. Ryan Reynolds seems to fit for the role of the foul-mouthed antihero who with his twisted sense of humor, breaks the fourth wall and cracks jokes, including at Reynolds' previous comic book films which are now forgettable. It sets a genre aside any superhero film, but is definitely part of Marvel's work. B+
